Communication Science


Tibor Bosse is Full Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Communication Science at the Communication & Media group at Radboud University, where he is currently the Program Director. Moreover, he is Chair of the NeFCA working group on Human Machine Communication, Figurehead of the NWA AI and Big Data Route, Chair of the UNL Expert Table Artificial Intelligence and former President of the Benelux Association for Artificial Intelligence. In his research, he builds bridges between Computer Science and the Social Sciences, in particular between Artificial Intelligence and Communication Science. He is particularly interested in the social interaction between human beings and socially intelligent systems, also called ‘Social Artificial Intelligence’.
